While his career began as a Quality Assurance Game Tester for Midway Games, Tim Nicholson used his background in human anatomy to master the art of 3D modeling and digital sculpting to become a Lead Character Artist on many high profile video game titles such as the Mortal Kombat franchise at NetherRealm Studios. In addition, his team helped develop, design and launch numerous AAA titles, which included the production of characters, props, and environments in both 3D and 2D.

Eventually, his love for sculpting led him to learn the art of lost wax casting and ignited his passion for jewelry making. This new form of expression allows him to combine his expertise in digital media and his cultural knowledge of street-wear to create a unique genre of wearable luxury objects under the pseudonym, Secret of Manna. Fascinated by everyday cultural banter, Tim transforms habitual goods from 3D models into contemporary possessions and refined jewelry.  He's been featured in publications including Rolling Stone, Design Miami, Vogue, and GQ, and has created custom jewelry for Bad Bunny, Ice Spice, and Jimin of BTS, among others. Recently, Tim showcased a curation of home decor items made from precious metals during Paris Fashion Week.
