Hang Wu is a PhD student in the Department of Cinema and Media Studies at the University of Chicago. Her research focuses on how the more-than-human, and especially the animal, may help to expand our undertanding of digital media and sovereignty in the context of East Asia. Her work has appeared in journals and edited volumes such as Animation: an interdisciplinary journal and Sound Communities in the Asia Pacific.
