My research interests include phenomenology and its history within media studies; formal examination of the congruences and divergences in the presentation of space and staging of action across cinema and videogames; embodied, embedded, extended, and enactive approaches to mind; and North American avant-garde cinema (especially found footage filmmaking and experimental machinima).
