The "Silly Media" Conference will be hosting an in-person 3D screening of Final Destination 5 (2011 Steven Quale 92min) on April 22, 2022 @ 7:00 pm CST at the Logan Center for the Arts, Room 201. The 3D screening will be preceded by Mountain Lodge (2020 Jordan Wong 8min), “a horny desktop film about a candle.” And finally we're thrilled to announce that the screening will also include a brand new animated short from stop motion artist Cressa Maeve Beer, specially commissioned for the "Silly Media" conference!
The "Silly Media" conference will also be hosting a Virtual Interactive Workshop and Q&A with moving image artist Zia Anger on April 23, 2022, tentatively planned for 9:30 am - 11:00 am CST over Zoom. More details about the interactive workshop will be circulated in the coming weeks.
