Noa Merkin is a Teaching Fellow in the Humanities at the University of Chicago and recently a doctoral fellow at the Franke Institute of the Humanities, University of Chicago. She has received her PhD in Cinema and Media Studies from The University of Chicago. Her research interests include Aesthetics, Film and Media Theory, Affect and Emotion Studies, Film and Philosophy, Hollywood Genres, Ernst Lubitsch.
